The Earth Trust Coin Project

Administering natural-resource assets in an ethical and sustainable manner — through land management, resource management and contract management — to keep the Project, its technology, its peer-to-peer exchange and its Risk Lending to the highest standard.

Mandate

Land, gold and technology, managed for the Earth

The land, gold and technology are managed to the benefit of the Earth and of the Project. Gold holdings are carbon-neutral, secured in a Swiss vault and reputably insured — a financial, legal and environmental arrangement intended to have a positive impact on people and societies everywhere, whether or not they use EHTC themselves.

Land management

Sourcing and responsibly managing at least 1 km² of land per coin from anywhere on Earth, improving long-term ecological and economic value.

Resource management

Acquiring, certifying and vaulting one ounce of carbon-neutral gold per coin, and maintaining the 1:1 reserve ratio.

Contract management

Governing the technology, the P2P exchange and Risk Lending — including annual liability-event review by a trusted third-party attorney.

Creation

Each coin is linked to a real allocation

The creation of every EHTC is linked to the equivalent aggregation and allocation of both land and gold by the Trustee. New coins appear at a random rate limited only by the Project's resources; the minimum value is buffered by the land and gold reserves.

  • Land is sourced worldwide, regardless of political affiliation.
  • Gold is one ounce of PAMP carbon-neutral certified physical Swiss gold.
  • Deeds and bars are administered in Switzerland and held in a Swiss vault.
  • Redemption is through the peer-to-peer DAO buy/sell exchange.
